Are there Different Types of Wood Touch-Up Markers?

There are two types of furniture touch up pens; those that come in stain or ink. The ink markers resemble regular touch-up pens in almost every aspect. 

They are best for hiding light marks or scratches on furniture. Ink markers are not so durable compared to stain markers.

Stain markers offer a more permanent solution and once applied they cannot be easily wiped-out. They are resistant to waxing, wiping, smudges, and polishing. 

For long lasting solutions, stains are the best that you can use.
